Lauryn Hill Sued for Alleged Theft

Lauryn Hill is under fire, once again, after it was revealed that a fashion consultant from her 2007 European tour is suing Hill, claiming that she never returned clothes provided to her for the tour.

According to Web sources, Via Davia Vintage filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming they provided Hill with an “entire wardrobe of high-fashion items, with Hill agreeing to pay a fixed weekly fee for the threads for four weeks.

However, the company claims that Hill broke the agreement and decided to keep the clothes for three months and only paid them a fraction of what was owed. Following the tour, Hill allegedly only returned 30 percent of the clothing items to the company and kept the most expensive pieces.

This isn’t the first time Hill has been sued over her previous European tour. Just last month, Hill, who recently gave birth to her sixth child, was sued for more than $20,000 by Jay Gore, a former guitar player from the tour who accused the singer of stiffing him out of thousands of dollars after the tour wrapped as well as claiming that Hill verbally abused him and several other members of her band. –nicholas robinson
