Since hip-hop newcomer Big Sean released the remix to his third single, “Dance (A$$),” earlier this week, fans have been clamoring over guest lyricist Nicki Minaj’s verse, in which the Young Money rapstress drops a shocking line, joking about her rumored butt implants.
On the booty-centric track, Minaj grabs the mic midway and dives into her grittier side as she explains why her bodacious buttocks is reason enough to crown her the leader of all “bad bi—-s.”
“A— so fat, all these bi—-s p—— is throbbing/Bad bi—-s I’m your leader,” raps Minaj, before going in for the comical kill and jokingly claiming that she’s received butt implants. “Kiss my a— and my anus, because it’s finally famous/And it’s finally soft/Yeah, it’s finally soft/ I don’t know, man, guess them a— shots wore off.”
Minaj’s rotund rump has been the subject of debate since the Pink Friday rapper hit the mainstream radar a few years, with many arguing that her backside is far from natural. Even Minaj’s celebrity pal, fellow bootylicious vixen Coco, wife of rapper-actor Ice-T, has claimed that Minaj’s butt is fake.
“Well, I read that it wasn’t. I thought that she came out with it. I heard it from her,” said Coco, in an interview with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
Minaj has remained relatively mum on the subject of her tush, but explained to DJ Funkmast Flex earlier this year that she doesn’t mind all of the comments that her backside is receiving.
“I don’t mind the questions, I don’t mind the fascination. It’s all good. … But I’ve said this before, it doesn’t define me. So, I try my best not to focus my energy on it,” explained Nicki. “Like, if you guys focus energy on and spend energy on it, I don’t mind it. You know, people are sitting in the barbershop talking about my butt, it’s conversational. That’s what people are gonna do. As long as they’re talking about Nicki Minaj, I’m good.”
As coy as Minaj may be, the rapper is definitely giving fans much to talk about when it comes to her extraordinary booty. –nicholas robinson
