Legacy Community Health Services Hosts Grand Opening of New Facility

Legacy Community Health Services is the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Houston, providing low-cost or primary health care and specialized health care services to nearly 40,000 men, women and children each year. Legacy’s focus is on the underserved citizens in our community — those who, without thier services, would either go untreated or place additional strain on already overburdened hospital emergency rooms.  Recently Legacy held the grand opening of its four-story 40,000 square-foot facility in the heart of Montrose. Mayor Annise Parker and other community and civic leaders attended.
