The Sneaker Ball-Fresh Start Changes Soles At the Goat Farm

On Saturday, November 5th, at the Goat Farm Arts Center, Atlanta’s trendiest young professional philanthropists attended the 2nd Annual “Sneaker Ball,” produced by Atlanta event company, Initial eVennts, LLC. The event was held in celebration of their partnership with international shoe charity, Soles4Souls, Inc. for their successful month long shoe campaign, “Without Sole,” surrounded around the thought “Everything You Couldn’t Do Without Shoes,” in collection of a total of over 5,500 shoes in 30 Days.  The event producers proudly showcased a “shoe mountain” displaying the success of their city wide shoe drive. Atlanta’s  music community came out to support the 2011 Sneaker Ball, including contemporary R&B recording artist Algebra Bessett, who attended to show her love and passion for the event as a self-proclaimed “Sneaker Head.”

At the 2011”Sneaker Ball” there were no awards for “Best Dressed” or fear of making a “Worst Dressed” list. Attendees enjoyed an opportunity to wear their favorite sneakers anyway  they chose, while partying for a great cause.
