Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown
Let’s face it, the judge who handled this custody battle had his work cut out for him. After their divorce in 2007, Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown found themselves in a custody battle over their daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Though both had a drug-riddled past, with both of them going in and out of rehab, Whitney claimed that Bobby was the “unreliable” parent and unfit to take care of Bobbi Kristina. Bobby denied Whitney’s claims, but admitted that he was so broke that he couldn’t afford a lawyer. Whitney eventually won full custody of their daughter, and although Bobby filed an appeal, a judge decided to uphold the original ruling in favor of Whitney. Though, in the long run, both parents have continued to publicly deal with their drug addictions and Bobbi Kristina has recently been accused of drinking and using drugs herself.
