Kanye West – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
Kanye West has never been one to keep his lips shut when it comes his albums being fairly recognized by awards shows and critics. And admittedly many could easily argue that his past albums have been snubbed for the Grammy’s Album of the Year award. But the Recording Academy’s snub against West was just downright blatant. Despite My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy earning excellent critical acclaim, landing a the top of many “best of” year-end lists in 2010 and earning West another No. 1 album and platinum plaque, the Recording Academy failed to nominate the record for Album of the Year. Though West has received seven other nominations for his album and Watch The Throne, many believe that this should have been his year to take home the big award and we agree.
