Back in April, news spread that the outspoken Sri Lankan singer-emcee M.I.A. had hit the studio with bad boy pop star Chris Brown to record new music. Though fans have yet to hear the fruits of their studio labors, the idea of the pairing is enough to pique fans’ interest and make them wonder how such a collaboration even came about.
