Andre Ware
Andre Ware became the first black quarterback to win the Heisman Trophy after an explosive college career at the University of Houston. Ware threw 44 touchdowns and threw for 4,699 yards in 1989. However, Ware never panned out in the NFL. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 1990 and eventually became a journeyman. He is currently a broadcast announcer for the Houston Texans.
