Bobby Brown's Lawyer Releases Statement on Arrest

Bobby Brown’s lawyer has released a statement following the arrest of her famous client.

As previously, reported the ex-husband of Whitney Houston was arrested Monday, March 26 on suspicion of driving under the influence. According to police, Brown, 43, was pulled over for driving while talking on a cellphone and was later taken into custody. Now his lawyer has released a statement in her client’s defense.

“Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and Mr. Brown was not driving erratically,” lawyer Tiffany Feder said in a written statement. “He was speaking on his cellphone. Mr. Brown has not been convicted of anything associated with this incident. Mr. Brown is taking this matter seriously, and an investigation is underway. The legal process shall run its course.”

Feder did not address the fact that Brown failed a sobriety test before he was taken to a Van Nuys, Calif., jail.
