Laz Alonso will join Meagan Good as the newest cast member of an NBC Pilot.
As previously reported, Good has been cast in the Universal TV and BermanBraun production “Notorious” to play Joanna Locasto, a detective who works undercover.
Written by Liz Heldens, the show will now feature Alonso as NYPD detective Will Sacovitch who recruits Locasto, an old flame, to solve a murder.
Alonso’s last role was on A&E’s “Breakout Kings.”
