On Easter Sunday, President Barack Obama attended services with his family at St. John’s Church in Washington, D.C., ABC News reported. The historic protestant Episcopal church is located just across from the White House. The First Family was seen walking to the church on what was a beautiful spring day in the nation’s capital.
The Obamas also attended Easter services at St. John’s in 2009. In 2011, the family attended Easter services at Shiloh Baptist Church, a historically black church in northwest Washington. The year before, they spent Easter Sunday with the congregation at Allen Chapel AME in southeast Washington. The family has not officially joined a church since moving to D.C. but instead attends services throughout the city.
