After moving from Tennessee to Baltimore and then again to Chi-town, Oprah quickly put her DNA into the Windy City. Initially, Oprah co-hosted the local morning program called “A.M. Chicago.” in 1984. It becomes the highest-rated show in the city in just one month. Soon, “A.M. Chicago” transitions from a duo to a solo act. One year later, it is retitled the “Oprah Winfrey Show.”
