The Gold Club
A sex scandal rocked Atlanta in 1999 courtesy of the prominent strip club ‘The Gold Club.’
The Gold Club’s owner Steve Kaplan was indicted on federal racketeering charges, including credit-card fraud, prostitution, money laundering and police corruption.
Prosecutors alleged that the strippers at the establishment were encouraged to perform lesbian sex acts and perform sex acts on clients.
The Gold Club has since shut down (of course) but a new club nightclub titled The Gold Room has been added to the Atlanta club scene.
