“This book is dedicated to the next generation of dream merchants. [This is a] book filled with achievers and dreamers who have planned, prepared, failed, regrouped, prayed and tried again, again, and again. I am pleased to publish this notification book in which our kids and adults can dream in reality. [It is] a documentation of our contributions in 2012 — African Americans making Houston proud,” said Vernita B. Harris.
