It’s Embarrassing
While “Basketball Wives” admittedly has its entertaining moments, the drink-throwing and face-slapping ultimately paints a negative picture of black women. When you’ve noticed people almost anticipating a fight when a large group of black women sits down at dinner; that’s when you know things may have gone too far. Do we really need that stereotype promoted even further on the big screen?
