Pulliam was adorable as Rudy Huxtable, but there are scores of “cute” child stars who evolve into rather “interesting”-looking adults. No one could have seen Pulliam blossoming into a ravishing raven with hypnotic bedroom eyes that could reach inside a man’s chest and alter the shape of his heart. Pulliam is fine personified.
Since she left “The Cosby Show,” Pulliam was determined to steal back her childhood and adolescence, which she pulled off, but took her out of the television cameras’ radar. She graduated from Spelman College in Atlanta, became a member of Delta Sigma Theta, and was content chilling and doing the student thing. But when she was ready, she popped back up on the scene, literally and figuratively, now a seasoned adult with a voluptuous form that she flossed in a couple of black men’s magazines. She also did game shows (celebrity episode of “Fear Factor” and “The Weakest Link”) and appeared in Chingy’s video for “One Call Away.” She also did a lot of movie work, including “What About Your Friends: Weekend Getaway,” “Motives,” “Beauty Shop,” “The Gospel,” and “Madea Goes to Jail.” And of course, she appeared recently on the TV show, “House of Payne.”
