Maria Menounos Falls Down The Leaderboard
After earning the first perfect score of the season, Maria Menounos and her partner, Derek Hough, hoped to continue their winning streak during this week’s show. And after a strained rehearsal (during which Derek apologized to Maria for being a jerk to her), the pair danced a graceful Viennese waltz and impressed the judges enough to earn a 28.
During the trio round, Maria and Derek were joined by Troupe member Henry for a Bollywood samba. And though Bruno and Carrie Ann enjoyed the routine, Len flat out hated it and the trio were awarded a 25, bringing Maria’s overall score to a 53.
