Check out your town’s events calendar, at any given time there is a convention or networking event taking place. Have your side chick meet you at the venue. The good news is, most networking events charge less than $20 per person, and supply free drinks and appetizers. Say what you must to get inside to the convention’s after-party, or you may have to scrounge around for discarded nametags to gain entrance. Presto! You have a cheap date.
