Debut Smash: Reasonable Doubt
Folks don’t realize that Jigga Man has dropped a record-breaking 11 Billboard topping CDs during his Hall of Fame-worthy career. But few introductions into the game can top Reasonable Doubt, which descended on the masses like a winter blizzard and saturating the landscape with a dizzying parade of chart-topping hits: “Can’t Knock The Hustle,” “Politics as Usual,” “Brooklyn’s Finest,” “Dead Presidents II,” “Feeling It,” “D’ Evils”. With impeccable style, infectious beats and hypnotic videos, Hov triumphed right out of the gate with this. Unlike others with smash debuts, Jay kept it coming strong with a succession of nastiness that the fans gorged themselves on, with The Blueprint probably the best of the RD successors.
