Michael Jackson’s prime real estate has finally lured a prospective buyer. Jackson paid $100,000 a month to rent the Holmby Hills, Calif., residence during the last months of his life.
The asking price is $23.9 million; the buyer has offered $17 million and reportedly, the realtor, Michael Umansky, is negotiating the price now.
Jackson died in the bedroom of the home in 2009 of cardiac arrest. The Los Angeles County coroner ruled that Jackson’s death was caused by “acute propofol intoxication; his doctor, Conrad Murray, was found guilty of causing the singer’s death.
Jackson was 50 years old when he died.
