Nunn Talks WE TV’s ‘Bridezillas’

With a new season of WE tv’s ‘Bridezillas’ on the horizon, the hit wedding reality drama is getting a new face from a celebrity supporter. Former rolling out cover girl Natalie Nunn is preparing to give the world an inside look into her seemingly shotgun nuptials on this Sunday’s premiere of the program. On the show, viewers will see the bad girl-turned-“Bridezilla” marry Jacob Payne, an aspiring football player with a shy smile and quiet demeanor that perfectly balances out her boisterous attitude. Detailing her experience at an L.A. nightclub where she recently celebrated her rolling out cover, Nunn says her new husband was unamused when an overzealous fan placed her hands on Nunn’s posterior and inadvertently caused a near meltdown. “It was my rolling out cover party last Wednesday and we’re in the club having fun and one of the girls [a fan] starts rubbing my butt and I’m like, ‘Wooo!'” said Nunn. “I kid you not, he looked at me, slapped her hand and said, ‘let’s go.’ I told him we’re not going anywhere, have a drink, relax! We’re like the opposite.”

With a picture of Payne painted as implausibly serious, it’s safe to assume that the stress of wedding planning will cause a clash between the couple but not in the way viewers might expect. Instead, Nunn insists that viewers won’t see her self-destruct, but gain a better understanding of her family and inner circle. That doesn’t mean that a debacle won’t take place, however; there are reports that fists will fly between two of her bridesmaids. “It’s going to be very authentic,” says Nunn. “This is my real family, these are my real friends. It’s not Natalie in a house with six other girls I don’t know that are purposely cast for me not to get along with. On other shows it’s supposed to be that you self-destruct, on this show these are my real friends.”

Calling her addition to “Bridezillas” fame her “next chapter,” she adds, “I’m not a perfect person, no one is but I’m always gonna be who I am. I am a rebel, I am a diva. Natalie is Natalie no matter what.”
