What Cheaters Want in Bed: Author Alan Roger Currie Speaks
If there is a situation where the man’s girlfriend or wife is “holding out” [i.e., intentionally refusing to have sex with him indefinitely as some sort of ‘punishment’] and the man becomes very, very sexually frustrated to the point where he becomes vulnerable, his sense of sexual self-control will be at its weakest.
With “involuntary cheating,” I tend to place at least fifty-percent of the blame on the man’s spouse or companion. This is a situation where the man wants to be faithful, but his degree of sexual self-control is tested because his romantic companion is not “playing fair.”
She is either only having sex with him erratically and occasionally, or in worst case scenario, she is not having sex with him at all. So, quite naturally, if he finds himself in the company of a woman who is attractive and sexually appealing, and especially if that woman has assertive tendencies, this man is going to give in to her making the first move.”
