Kerry Washington: It’s almost shameful for someone to come with the complete package of beauty, brains, quick wit and down-home friendliness. During the movie premiere of For Colored Girls in New York, Washington was the life of the party. First of all, she treated our interview like two people just kicking it on the front porch. And during the red carpet premiere, when all the stars of the film were introduced inside the theater by Tyler Perry, Washington jumped up and acted like she was a starting member of the Miami Heat: she danced to the front of the theater and high-fived the other cast members, leaving them in stitches.
