#3. Tell a family member or a close friend about the person, place, meeting time, and even send a picture of your online blind date. If anything strange occurs on your date, someone you trust will have clues about where you were and whom you were with.
#4. Your first date should take place in a public, well populated area. Having people around provides a feeling of security and (of course) witnesses. Never agree to meet at any dark meet-up spot or places such as the midnight movie, or even a late-night walk along the beach.
