Macy’s Fashion Incubator Designer in Residence Program
OK, so you may not be able to recognize the designer’s names that are a part of the Macy’s Fashion Incubator program, but they want you to. On the 11th floor of Macy’s, there are selected designers who are working hard at their craft. The designers have 2,375 square feet of space that is filled with two 30ft. cutting tables, 17 sewing machines, seven computers and office equipment. The space also features a showroom/conference room and three smaller office spaces. Fashion Incubator is a yearlong program that provides six designers with the resources, workspace, showroom, curriculum, and mentoring to grow their business while establishing networks in the community.
