Barbara Bates, an internationally renowned designer that hails from Chicago got the chance of a lifetime to compete on the reality show, “Fashion Star.” On the show, Bates won the chance to have two dresses picked up by Macy’s. Even though you can’t buy this designer’s apparel at Macy’s on State Street yet, we still wanted to show this creative Chicagoan some love.
