2 Chainz Asked to Join ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Cast
Did an Atlanta rapper answer the call to join the cast of a popular reality show? That’s the question being asked today after rapper 2 Chainz confirmed that he’s been asked “several” times to join the cast of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” The rapper known for his “Tru” catchphrase was in Baltimore this week promoting his debut album, Based On A T.R.U. Story, when he was asked to share his opinion of the show.
“I don’t know the characters for real. I saw maybe 20 minutes of one show,” said 2 Chainz to A.J. of 92Q’s Rap Attack. “They tried numerous amounts of time to get me on that show. They’ve been in Atlanta doing it.”
“I think if you don’t have a grey area there it kind of makes you or breaks you when do something like that,” added Chainz. “I just didn’t wanna have nothing to do with it. I know Imma be on the road and they gon’ be somewhere like in ya girl face with another girl, talking about another girl. Man, please.”
Before reports circulated about his possible ‘Love & Hip Hop” casting, rumors swirled that the 35-year-0ld was in a long-term relationship with a woman named Kesha. Ironically, “Kesha” is the name of one of the rapper’s songs.
