K. Michelle Supports Evelyn: “It’s Sad…”

The outspoken K. Michelle is speaking out in support of a fellow starlet Evelyn Lozada who recently suffered domestic abuse at the hands of her famous husband. K. Michelle of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is expressing support for Lozada who made headlines after being head-butted by Chad Johnson. She has since filed for divorce. Michelle, a participant in the anti-domestic abuse organization ‘Saving Our Daughters,’ recently spoke with Global Grind on Lozada’s situation and offered support. ‘”It just feels like it’s a very delicate situation, just like with my situation, no one was there with them,” said Michelle. We don’t know what happened, We don’t know anything about it. And I think that media, as well as the Twitter people and the outside world, are so quick to judge and take sides on the situation.”

Michelle also made sure to point out that Lozada could be a far cry in her personal life from the brash, bottle throwing woman we see on ‘Basketball Wives.’ A number of people on social media sites have criticized Lozada for beng a hypocrite; a woman who is known to be violent on television but one who is “standing up to violence” per a statement she gave this week. “You don’t understand and you don’t know who Evelyn is,” Michelle said about the baller wife. “You don’t know if Evelyn goes home, and she could be the most mild mannered, calm person. You just never know how that is. “To not be sympathetic to her in a time like this is absolutely ridiculous. It shows you just how evil the world is and it shows you just how real jealous the world is.”

Michelle also applauded Lozada for walking away quickly from the situation, a move she should have done after being abused by producer Memphitz.

Before speaking on the Chad and Evelyn drama, Michelle was embroiled in a heated Twitter beef with her cast mate Rasheeda. Rasheeda previously admitted that she had doubts about the singer’s domestic abuse allegations. -danielle canada
