Chris Brown’s mother may or may not be fond of Rihanna’s recent “Next Chapter” interview with Oprah, but according to some sources, Brown himself was “touched” by Rihanna’s interview.
According to the U.K.’s The Sun, Brown visited Rihanna in L.A. before the release of her famous interview and the two spent time bonding.
“They are getting on really well at the moment and spent time catching up and relaxing,” said the source.
Though reports have claimed that Brown is tired of Rihanna speaking about their 2009 domestic dispute, the source claims that Brown saw Rihanna’s Oprah interview and was moved by her words about him.
“He’s watched clips of her interview with Oprah and seems to be touched,” the insider claimed.
In the interview, Rihanna claimed that she and Brown are still in love with each other, but have chosen to keep these platonic and forge a strong friendship.
“We’ve been working on our friendship again and now we’re very, very close friends. We built a trust again and that’s it,” she said. “We love each other and we probably always will, and that’s not anything that we’re going to try to change. It’s not something you can shut off, if you’ve ever been in love.”
Well, considering Rihanna’s words about their relationship, we wouldn’t be surprised if the sources claims are true.
