T.O., Chad Johnson and the Most Tragic Declines in Sports History

Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus are the two greatest and most important players in golf’s history.

Palmer and Nicklaus’ most dominant work came in the 1960s and ’70s, but they kept playing long after that for some reason. Palmer competed in his last PGA Tour event as recently as 2005, while 1998 was the year we last saw Jack Nicklaus compete.

Both guys stuck around way longer than they should have, and watching the two most dominant golfers of all time decline was not fun.
