Pilar’s Lawyer Says Deion Thinks He’s “Above the Law”
The once very happy couple, Deion and Pilar Sanders, can’t seem to compromise on anything. Deion wants his monthly court-ordered child support payments of $10,000 a month reduced, citing it’s unfair.
He challenged the May 2012 court order by filing an appeal with the Texas Supreme Court, saying the $10,000 per month is six times higher than what’s required by state law.
Pilar defends the amount with a monthly breakdown of how the obligation satisfies her children’s needs:
-$2,000 for a special diet
-$900 for uniforms, shoes and extracurricular activities
-$500 for cell phones
-$450 for sons’ haircuts at the barber shop and beauty salon treatments to manage her daughters “thick curly hair”
Pilar’s lawyer tells TMZ.com, “Once again, Mr. Sanders has not followed the Court’s direct orders and has attempted to make up his own rules. It is clear that he still thinks he is “above the law.”
