Jada Russell is the face behind several high-profile promotional events for Kanye West, Common, Dwyane Wade Foundation, New York Fashion Week, and yes, the iconic Maya Angelou.

Russell, Founder and Chief Strategist of High Style Marketing & PR, graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology, and landed plum gigs at Guess? Jeans and Conde Nast (publisher of Vogue) in New York before returning to Chicago to start her own company.

High Style Marketing & PR is a full-service communications agency that specializes in fashion, entertainment and philanthropy. “I started with one client, Double Stitch, and we built our businesses together from the ground up,” Russell says. “Other great opportunities quickly followed and here I am, almost a decade later.”
Here, Russell shares the secrets of her success.
