Yolanda Adams, an American Grammy and Dove-award winning gospel music singer and radio show host, graduated from Texas Southern University. At the 2012 BET Awards, Adams’ won the award for Best Gospel Artist for the fourth time in her career having won the most since the first BET Awards began in 2001.
