Josephine Nichols Shooting
Josephine Nichols affectionately known as “Mother Jo” was killed in April 2012 when a Aurora, Colo., man opened fire at Destiny Christian Center. The older woman and mother to the church Pastor was killed by 29-year-old Kiarron Parker, a felon who crashed his car in the church parking lot and shot at people who came to his aid. Parker was then killed by an off duty police officer.
