Chris Rock Sends a Message to Undecided White Voters
Just before today’s election, Chris Rock decided to have some fun with undecided voters and recorded a hilarious video hoping to sway them in President Barack Obama’s direction. Rock, 47, appeared on a segment during Jimmy Kimmel titled “A Special Message For White People.” After calling the president a “white president you can trust” the funny man ticked off reasons why Obama is just that.
“For the first two thirds of his life, Barack Obama was known as ‘Barry’ which is the third whitest name on earth, right after Cody and Jeff,” said Rock in the video. “After college, Barry went into black neighborhoods in Chicago to try to organize people. How white is that? Black people don’t go into black communities. We don’t have to, we’re already there!”
Rock then shows pictures of the president doing “traditionally white” things like playing golf, body surfing and wearing mom jeans. The 2:39 second video is utterly hilarious.
