Nas and his father appear in Gap's holiday ad campaign

Nas and his father became one of hip-hop’s favorite father-son teams when Nas released one of the genre’s greatest odes to father’s, “Bridging the Gap,” which featured has famous dad, jazz musician Olu Dara. Now, father and son are recreating that magic once again, as they appear together in Gap’s new holiday ad, “Fatherly Love,” which appears as part of the brand’s “Love Comes in Every Shade” holiday campaign.

Nas happily tweeted the new commercial earlier this week, with the message, “Me & Pops for The Gap. #LifeisGood.” And, in the clip, the pair look, for lack of a better word, adorable, as they hug each other in between photo shots together.

Other stars that appear in the campaign include Michael J. Fox, Francis Ford Coppola and Rufus Wainwright.

Thankfully, Nas and Dara aren’t hip-hop’s only great father-son team. Check out some other great ones below. – nicholas robinson
