We didn’t know that Shaquille O’Neal had a battalion of jump-offs strewn about the country until his arch-adversary (and former teammate) Kobe Bryant absentmindedly told Colorado authorities during his own rape investigation that he should have done what Shaq did.
And what was it that Shaq did? He kept all his mattress partners on a “be quiet” payroll. In other words — get undressed, perform in the bedroom and keep your mouth shut.
At first, The Big Aristotle was not very believable nor eloquent when he angrily denied that he engaged in such a practice, saying that he never talks to Kobe and therefore would not be privy to his personal endeavors. Later on, however, after The Big Cheater was caught messing with another NBA player’s pregnant fiance, he was forced to changed his story about cheating on his wife. Especially after that wife move out the house immediately.
“At one time, my ex-wife Shaunie and I were happy, but I admit it, I was a guy. I was a guy with too many options. Choosing to be with some of these women, well, that’s on me. In my mind, I never did it disrespectfully, but obviously, I shouldn’t have done it at all,” the Big Diesel said, being the Big Man who admitted his mistakes. “You know as well as I do relationships are about maintaining… It wasn’t the big stuff, it was the small stuff, and that’s my fault. I had things to do. I was trying to win, trying to make some money. I admit I wasn’t the best partner. I just didn’t know how. I’m learning now.”
Shaq is now an NBA analyst on TNT alongside Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith. Let’s review Shaq’s rather impressive portfolio of girlfriends and jump-offs.
