William T. Hoston, Ph.D.
William T. Hoston, Ph.D. is an author, scholar, motivational speaker and poet. Dr. Hoston is assistant professor of political science at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He is the author of two books, Why “We” Didn’t Choose You: A Relationship Handbook for Women (and Men) and Listen to Me Now, or Listen to Me Later: A Memoir of Academic Success for College Students. A New Orleans native, Hoston is a man who overcame early obstacles to eventually earn his doctorate.

Hobbies:
All sports, playing pool, writing, hanging out with friends, and mentoring youth.
What makes a woman attractive:
God-fearing, ambitious, confident, down-to-earth, supportive, and a great sense of humor. Support from a confident, strong, woman can make the impossible possible.
Turnoffs:
Insecure [women], non-supportive, not understanding, wants the world but doesn’t understand the hard work to achieve it, too much makepup, excessive weave, and holding on to past baggage.
