In June of 2012, the torrential downpour of hate and criticism of LeBron James finally fizzled out like wet firecracker. Compiling one of the most spectacular single-season statistical and rewarded years in NBA history, The Chosen One earned his 3rd Most Valuable Player award, lead the Miami Heat to the NBA championship, where he was also voted the series MVP, and then he was considered the undisputed leader of the Olympic basketball team that won the Gold Medal in London.

And he has accomplished all of these things without a single hint of a scandal (well, save for the deal that got him to Miami, according to critics).
Let’s take a quick look back at the life of an athletic marvel.
