Michael Vick benched for remainder of the season by Philadelphia Eagles

Michael Vick’s days with the Philadelphia Eagles are likely over. Vick was sidelined after suffering a concussion three weeks ago. Today, coach Andy Reid announced that rookie quarterback Nick Foles will start for the rest of the season.

Vick struggled for most of the season and had 14 turnovers in nine games. However, Vick played behind a shaky offensive line that mostly featured rookies and back up players. Vick was sacked 27 times in nine games. In comparison, Tom Brady was sacked 19 times in 12 games.

Vick will likely be cut by the Eagles after the season is over.
