Earlier this week, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore’s reputation was tarnished when her on-screen boyfriend, Walter Jackson, alleged that Moore asked him to pretend to be her boyfriend for the cameras. After vaguely responding to his claims on Twitter, Moore recently told talk show queen Wendy Williams that Jackson’s claims are false.
On the Dec. 13 episode of the “The Wendy Williams Show,” Williams read an exclusive statement from Moore in which she refuted Jackson’s claims that their romance was “fake.”
“Walter’s recent statements are completely false. I am embarrassed that I allowed a deceitful and hateful person in my life,” said Moore. “He said he ‘did it for fame.’ I’ve been humiliated enough by appearing desperate for a man to marry me who now admits that he had his own agenda.”
“I urge viewers to stay tuned because the truth will come to light … I have heard the fans and my friends loud and clear…I can do better than Walter, and I will,” Moore added.
Despite Moore’s statement, Williams was still convinced that Jackson is the one telling the truth about their “romance.”
“You know what, she’s a very polished performer. Unfortunately, I do not believe a word. I believe what Walter said,” said Williams, adding that she heard rumors that Bravo wouldn’t allow Moore to be a part of the cast if she didn’t have a boyfriend.
“I just feel like this Kenya, it is what it is. I know that it is very embarrassing that all of this was exposed. I know you can’t go anywhere now. You can’t go to the bank. You can’t go to the grocery store. Everybody is laughing at you and everybody is looking at you crazy,” Williams said. “She’s saying stay tuned… I’m not staying tuned. You’ve been exposed.”
Sorry, Moore, but we have to agree with Williams. But if it’s any consolation to Moore, she’s not the only reality star to have the rug pulled from under her by her “man.” Check out some “relationship” blowups below. –nicholas robinson
