Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen
He was the bass player from the Sex Pistols who couldn’t really play and she was a groupie who somehow became his “manager.” They had a legendary heroin habit that eventually led to him being kicked out of the pioneering punk band and moving to New York City. Sid woke up after a drug binge one night to discover Nancy stabbed to death in the bathroom. He was arrested, but overdosed on heroin himself while out on bail awaiting trial for her murder.
