Black women don't work out because of hair: Tips
Sweating out a perm is the absolute worst scenario for many stylish sisters. Who would want to sit under a hair dryer for an additional hour after working out for 30 minutes?
According to a new study, this attitude is taking a toll on black women’s health.

The study’s senior researcher Amy McMichael, also a dermatologist at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, surveyed 103 black women and  found that 50 percent of their subjects reported exercising less than 75 minutes a week, and more than 25 percent said they didn’t exercise at all. The primary deterrent from exercise was messing up their hairstyles.
