Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire is alive
Today December 21, 2012, rumors began floating that Earth,Wind & Fire frontman Maurice White passed away. News of his death quickly spread on Twitter.com where distraught fans including rapper Q Tip went into a panic.

Luckily those reports are false. “Maurice White is alive and doing well!,” said a rep for Earth, Wind & Fire. “The rumors across the web are false. Please spread the word.”
White recently celebrated a birthday December 19. The Steve Harvey Morning show also paid tribute to White and EWF Friday morning which may have caused the confusion.
