“Dirty South”
It’s become a term we just associate with southeastern United States and its become fairly commonplace to hear it, even outside of hip hop. But the term originated on a track from Goodie MOB’s first album, a track that featured OutKast’s Big Boi and Cool Breeze. Now, even a British southern rock tribute band goes by the name “Dirty South.”
