The Final Adventure by Murs and 9th Wonder

“Who cries when the killer dies/Is it justified when tears fill ya eyes?” “Funeral For A Killer” is one highlight on an album bursting at the seams with ideas. Some of 9th Wonder’s best productions back the perennially-underrated Murs, as he raps about funerals, his hometown and politics. The third in a series of potent releases that began with Murs 3:16 – the 9Th Edition back in 2004. “Red and blue rags are the new blue collar,” he raps on “Tale of Two Cities,” amid piano and muted trumpet samples. If this is truly the duo’s last collaboration, they’ve gone out on yet another high note.
