Side Bar: A Closer Look At “Deception”
The mid-season debut for ”Deception” starring Laz Alonso and Meagan Good is set for Jan. 7 on NBC. The show, which has undergone several name changes (”Notorious” and ”Infamous,” respectively), features Good as Detective Joanna Locasto. Good’s character goes undercover as a maid to help solve the murder of a notorious heiress who at one point was her closest friend. Laz Alonso plays NYPD Detective Will Sacovitch, who recruits Locasto.
