The neo-soul group Kindred the Family Soul presented an awesome performance at The Shrine recently, with amazing featured guest to include Grammy nominated American Jazz pianist Robert Glasper, American drummer Ahmir Khalib Thompson, better known as Questlove, and hip-hop artist Black Thought. The crowd swayed and rocked to the tunes of Kindred and the guest performers. At one point during the performance, Robert Glasper tried to rap but was told to stick to his talent by Black Thought. They put on a great performance and are looking forward to returning to Chicago in March for another show with more guest performers!
