Actor Laz Alonso may be one of black Hollywood’s biggest sex symbols, but is the heartthrob actor giving up sex in his personal life? Well, according to a new interview, Alonso has definitely considered the idea of celibacy thanks to “Deception” star Meagan Good.
During a recent interview with Sister 2 Sister, Alonso talked about his friendship with Good and her husband, DeVon Franklin, who abstained from sex before they tied the knot seven months ago. Alonso described them as personal role models and explained how they helped him see the pros in celibacy before marriage.
“I think it’s everybody’s choice. People have different ways of going about their emotional and their personal life. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong answer,” said Alonso.
Although Alonso admits that celibacy seemed to be the right choice for Good and Franklin, he also admits that celibacy isn’t for everybody. So, what does Alonso think about incorporating celibacy into his own life? Well, he’s not so sure about that, but he admits that he’s definitely given it some thought.
“I think what worked for Meagan and DeVon obviously has worked very well because they’re madly in love with each other, and they are a role model couple for me,” he said. “They got married, so, maybe I need to try that approach.”
