Lewis’ entourage of 10 was involved in an altercation that resulted in the stabbing deaths of Jacinth Baker, 21, and Richard Lollar, 24. Lewis along with his companions, Reginald Oakley and Joseph Sweeting, were indicted on murder and aggravated assault charges. The murder charges were dropped against Lewis in exchange for his testimony against Oakley and Sweeting.
